Rotary Club – Youth Speaks

Pressing issues such as Food Waste, Ivory Poaching and The Written Word were amongst the Topics shared at the Second Round of the Rotary Club Youth Speaks competition last night. We are delighted to announce that the Sidbury Speaking Guru’s Maisie Lyon, James Allen and Owen Foster, with their backstage supporters Edward Walker and Sky Rowbotham, WON this round with their captivating performance, which was highly praised by the judges and many members of the audience. This win takes them through to the Devon Final next Saturday where we wish them well. There were very proud parents and staff in the audience and they kindly thanked Mrs Todd, Mrs Sells and Mrs Laver for their support! Well done TEAM, you should be very proud of this achievement!
