Catch-Up Premium
Due to the impact of the disruption that Covid 19 has had on children's learning, the government announced £1 billion of funding to support children and young people to catch up lost time after school closure. This is especially important for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds.
The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) has provided research based strategies on how best to support vulnerable pupils. This guidance has been the starting point for our catch-up strategy.
Sidbury has been allocated £13.360; we have devised a plan for the year which can be found below:
How will we assess the effects of this plan?
Leaders will meet regularly with teachers to track and monitor pupil progress and attainment, based on formative and summative data available.
Staff and pupil views will be sought regularly.
Directors of School Improvement will meet with the Headteacher to evaluate the plan and its effect on pupil attainment.
